Dillon’s work stood out to me because, I am going to high school just like he  and the main character are. Also in Dillon’s essay is about a social and economic issue which I am very interested in, getting and paying for College. As my sister is going to College next year this is growing interest of mine. I want to be able to read more books on this topic/ social issues.

 Hale’s work stood out to me because she placed a topic or question to focus on at the top of each paragraph. This was an interesting format because I kind of got the gist of what that paragraph was going to be about. Also Hale shared the negatives and the positives about the book. For instance at the very end it says she appreciated the book but wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
