Whose perspective is missing in this text? What would it be like if we put it back?

I just finished reading Hunger Games, book number one. Katniss and Peeta both succeed in the 74th annual Hunger Games. They fought through harsh conditions, alliances, and friends dyeing. Before the games when Katnis’s sister got chosen and she volunteered as a tribute in the Hunger Games. Overall, the perspective of the citizens is missing because I’m sure they don’t want to fight to the death in an arena with harsh conditions.
The reason I think the perspective/ voice of the people is missing because they don’t have a say in what they want to do. I can be 100% sure none of them want to fight to the death. It’s basically that the Hunger Games are a death wish. If you are 12 years old like the character Rue it’s definitely a death wish. There are stronger and more skilled people than you fighting in the games.
If we put their perspective back into place there would probably be no Hunger Games. They would probably over ride the government and protest against it. Even though there are rules against protest in the book, it can b a case of if one of us goes to jail, take all of us. They could have done that if they work together and get there perspective in place.
In all, the opinions of the citizens are missing in the Hunger Games. If they had more say things would be different in the town on Panham.

  1. Jeffrey I agreem the voice of the people must be heard, it is not fair to be treated like they are treated, i think they so hold an upraising on the capitol and have a real government.
